First, ye denizens of Paris, a reminder that I have a concert coming up this Friday, the 13th. 8pm, Espace Renaudie (30 rue Lopez et Jules Martin, Aubervilliers, Metro Fort d'Aubervilliers, 10 euros / 5 euros reduced - see http://www.nissimmusic.org/writings/?p=89 for a map and more info). The piece is Omie Speaks, for saxophone quartet and tape. Also on the concert, Jonathan Pontier, Jean-Yves Bernhard, Marie Reynaud, Pierre-Andreas Berndt, Jean-Luc Degioanni, and Gregoire Lorieux. By the way, we're so cool, we have an MC.
Planning continues for the March roll-out of Nuevos Misterios. I've written a good third of the piece so far. Flying Forms, http://www.flyingforms.org, have put together concerts at the Schubert Club Court Room series at noon on Thursday, March 26th, a house concert on Saturday the 28th, and then on the 29th, the formal premiere at House of Hope Church in St. Paul at 4pm. Plus, the three of use will be talking to high school and college students about putting together a new piece.

La pièce : Omie Speaks. Les autres compositeurs : Jonathan Pontier, Jean-Yves Bernhard, Marie Reynaud, Pierre-Andreas Berndt, Jean-Luc Degioanni et Gregoire Lorieux. Et nous sommes si cool que nous avons un MC.
On continue à organiser les événements à Minnesota pour le déroulement de Nuevos Misterios. Flying Forms (http://www.flyingforms.org) jouera la pièce dans un concert au « Schubert Club Court Room » à midi, le jeudi 26 ; le samedi 28, il y aura un concert studio ; et finalement la création formelle sera le 29 à 16h à l'église « House of Hope » à St. Paul. Il y aura aussi des interventions dans la communauté.
