There is a lot of interesting information on this site and I'll highly
recommend to anyone interested in the Emerald Isle ! (hope some day to get

Comments: I live in Liverpool so as the majority of Liverpudlians, I come
from Irish stock, the man I married takes his Irish heritage very seriously
and volunteers me for projects to do with the Irish Centre in Liverpool. I
am currently looking for the county crests so that I can paint them on the
stage of the Irish Centre to try to make it look nice. I have been sat at
my computer searching for these images for hours and nearly cried with

have the same views that at least the majority of the people in the Republc
of Ireland share. I pride myself with the fact that I have been told by many
Irish (including the boys from Belfast) that I have more knowledge of the
history and and about what is going on in Ireland than most Irish- Irish do.
I am grateful that your site was sent to me. I believe that I will be
able to get a lot of usage out of it. Your site will help me stay up on

Comments: Really appreciated the information on the Famine. Considering the
number of people of Irish ancestry in Canada, and the impact the Famine had
on Canada at the time, this topic really needs to be brought up in our
schools curricula. As it is, the only our kids get about Ireland and it's
history, is the Fenian Invasion of Canada following the American Revolution.

I just want to say that this site is the greatest! I really love it..I visit
almost every day. I'm danish, and love my language of course, but I think
that irish is a beautiful language too. I use your gaelic lessons, but I'm
not started yet, because I have to tranlate them all into danish, or else I
don't understand it all. I hope I'm soon finish with the translating and can
start with the lessons. But it's not only the language I like! It's also the
people, the history, the music etc. I would really like to come to Ireland
someday.

Actually I'm very pleasantly surprised to see that the CC website is back in
business, it's been in stasis for years. They've kept it quiet too, not a
mention in the paper itself, very odd.
Even without an interest in Clare, the hurling photographer has to be the
best I've ever seen, incredible action photos every week.
