Feature Requests

Hello Ayende,

I am using my NHProf copy quite a bit in the last time and there are 3 things (in order of importance to me) I would be glad if they could be implemented:

1. Tail: like in BareTail, tail -f or any other implementation: don't make me scroll to the bottom all the time. If my scroll bar hits the bottom, I want it to stay there :
   I'd simply copy BareTails behavior / ui there
2. Remove some noise: Most of my display is cluttered by
   begin transaction with isolation level: Unspecified
   commit transaction
   If there are no errors, I'd appreciate this not coming into my way.
3. I would want to know if connection Opens match connection Closes, so if NH has some stats about this, I would be happy if I could see them.

2) I will add a filter for that, a lot of people consider this data
very important.

Currently we have a leaking connection pool. Something seems to open connections and not close them - but it's difficult to find out who is to blame for that. It would be nice if nhprof could help with the detective work :)

3) Are you using DTC by any chance? Trying to track connection open/close is possible, but it will not really make sense to show it in general. 

NH is doing a LOT of that internally.

This is in a web app using the rhino commons base app.

Hm, 

in that case, I can't really think of a reason you would leak connections.

What made you suspect this?

I am getting
Timeout expired.  The timeout period elapsed prior to obtaining a connection from the pool.  This may have occurred because all pooled connections were in use and max pool size was reached.

Is that other site still being used for tracking feature requests? I
really found it quite useful but I can't find a link for it anywhere..

One request...

I'd love to see side by side diffs in *Profiler. I find I don't get
much value from the current implementation.
