Works much better than the last few. An occassional hang but for some
reason when i right-click the window appears.
Other than that it is more responsive.

Good to hear it, the problem with the up/down keys has been fixed, as well as a few others.
Can you repro the hang when right clicking?
Where are you clicking to reproduce this?

Actually it is when I am on a different app and try to go back to nhprof. Nhprof doesn't respond unless I right-click...Then it pops up.

Same problem in Build 593.

If I go to another app I have to right click on the icon in the
Windows bar to get NHProf to appear.

One thing to note is that my system is using what I consider a large
amount of page file (> 2 gigs) and by reducing the usage to ~1 gig and
restarted NHProf the problem seems to have gone away.

I think that what you are seeing is actually something very different. I am assuming that you are talking about clicking on the profiler in the right click menu like the one on the attached image.
If this is the case, what is actually happening is that this launches a SEPARATE instance of the profiler, which detects that another instance of the profiler is running, and then bring it to front.

i figured that was what it was doing, but not sure why it hangs sometimes even under light load...after a few runs it doesn't seem to do it as much.

I'm on Windows XP (corporate standard) so normally a right click
should bring up a context menu but in NHProf's case it actually just
makes the window appear. Very strange.

It hangs because it needs to starts up a new process, and then do RPC to wake the old process up

Can you explain a bit more? I don't think that I am following.
Where are you clicking that you get a hang?

I'm not. I'll go to another window and when I click on NHProf in the taskbar it doesn't respond even after a great while. Right+click just restarts it as you said.
Accelerator is turned off.

Your initial message mentioned something about right clicking & hanging.
Obviously I am confused, can you explain to me the steps to reproduce, and the OS you are running on?

NHProf is running.
VS is running.

I run a unit test in VS which results in NH traffic I want to
analyze. As the test is still running I click the NHProf icon in the
windows tray. The icon becomes "active" (indented) but the window
does not appear. If I right click the icon instead the window will
now appear.

I just verified that currently even though no tests are running I
still have to right click the NHProf icon to get the screen to
appear.
