Whenever I try to run nhprof it fills up my temp directory pretty
fast. I have about 10gigs free and just after running nhprof there's a
7gig and a 3gig file created.

Is there anything I can do to stop this?

Hi,
NH Prof writes incoming events to a log. But it shouldn't get to GBs in size, not for any reasonable workload.
How many queries does it get?

Hi
I've just had another go with it, this is the order of events roughly.

-start to run out of memory
-cpu usage on devenv and nhprof increases - maxes a core each
-disks fills up (temp files: tmpF21E.tmp 0 bytes, tmpF1FE.tmp 10.8gb,
tmpF21E.tmp.nhprof 1.3mb)
-nhprof crashes

I'm not doing anything crazy, it was probably after about 40 queries
in 10 sessions.

I had a look in the large temp file and it did look like plain logging
data all the way through.

I've had it happen before on different projects as well.

Thanks

What do you mean by starting to run out of memory?

Sorry, I'm not sure when it happens. It's been running fine for a
couple of hours now. I'll reply again when I can reproduce it.

I was hoping I had just set something obvious up wrong :)
