From a technical perspective, I don't see why not (I just changed the profile, and it compiles just fine).

Hello everyone,
I noticed that NHibernate upgraded to .NET 4.0. Is it possible to make it compatible with .NET 4 Client Profile? I have this huge desktop app and I'd really like to update to latest NH, which I can't do currently.
I can do a pull request for that.
