Visitors:
60. Thanks to Dan and many others for providing extra eyes and great company.

Weather:
Sunny and calm with temperatures in the fifties and sixties.

Raptor Observations:
Broad-wing migration started early today, with the highest numbers observed in the morning. Sharpies were the second most abundant migrant. Also migrating were a dozen kestrels; small handfuls of eagles, harriers, Cooper's, and Ospreys; and a couple of Merlins and Red-shouldered Hawks.

Non-raptor Observations:
Other birds on the wing included a Great-blue Heron and 41 ravens. Several warbler species stopped by including Yellow-rumped Warbler, Black-throated Green Warbler, Nashville Warbler, and Northern Parula. The pair of towhees came nearby and a couple of Red Crossbills flew by late in the day. Ruby-throated Hummingbirds: 5/52 Monarchs: 41/156

Predictions:
Similar weather conditions expected, with perhaps more clouds and a breeze from the west. International Hawk Migration Week starts tomorrow!
