Sr. Director Software Engineering

The Collections & Recovery Product Development leader will be
responsible for the overall development management of the Collections
& Recovery product lines, including but not limited to: - alignment
with Corporate, Business Unit, and Department level strategies, best
practices and standards, and representing the Collections & Recovery
Product Development organization in those activities; - day-to-day
management of the Collections & Recovery development teams, including
but not limited to goal setting, performance management, skillset
evaluation, employee development, recognition, and ongoing
communication for all application architecture, business systems
analysis, and software engineering staff; - delivery of overall
product functionality on time and with high quality while conforming
to applicable best practices, architectural standards, and usage of
shared technologies for new development and maintenance releases; -
delivery of timely and high-quality third-level support functions for
all assigned product lines;

Extensive of experence in Software Product Development managing
geographically distributed teams

The successful candidate will exhibit proven experience and
proficiency in several critical areas: - A proven track record of
delivering largescale software applications development initatives -
Project Management - Product Development Management, particularly in a
matrix organization - Software Quality Assurance - Configuration
Management - Organizational Management of teams 80+ with highly
technical personnel responsible for Product Development functions -
Experience managing geographically distributed teams - Technical
Architecture: older styles thru SOA, but primarily SOA - Highly
advanced skills in Java and non-Java tech stacks across Windows, Unix,
and Mainframe platforms, but primarily Java - RUP-based development
methodology or similar, and ability to apply in a "fit for purpose"
manner
