I'm thinking about switching to Aliant's HDTV service.
Does anyone have an opinion on the quality (and reliability) of the HD picture, compared to Rogers HD?

The house phone/Internet/HDTV package is priced very attractively.
Thanks.

Yes it is priced attractively, and that is why we've stayed with it, even
though the HD quality is not as good as what I've seen from Rogers.

i have rogers now and was thinking about switching to aliant but it
turned out to be more expensive in the long run. it's a good deal for
the first 6 months or a year but for me it would have been an extra
$20 a month for the same type of package i have with rogers.

If you're using Rogers for TV, think of that extra $20 paying for
competence, professionalism and reliability

If you're using Rogers for internet, consider that extra $20 towards the
ability to download and upload as much
as you want and not get penalized for actually USING their "service" as
Rogers will if you go over their cap.

I can't comment on their phone "service" as I've never used it.
