Get the HP part number and call MicroAge Computers service department
(579-1208) and see if they can order the part from HP.

If it's just the keyboard, you can get one from ebay, just make sure the
details list your laptop's model #. I did this for a Toshiba laptop a while
back.

What's the model of the laptop? I have a hp at home that has a broken
screen and wouldn't mind selling it.
