Why Doesn't Danny just pay for it?

I'm just curious as to why Danny just doesn't take a month and a half of
his donated salary and give it to Andy! This is
hilarious...embarrassing...and pathetic...all at the same time.

More like why doesn't Andy just pay for it. His big ego got him into
his financial burden and his big $175K salary + $40K pension are more
than adequate to get him out of it. I wonder, will any of the
businesses that donate to Andy be able to claim the cost as a business
expense for taxation purposes?

There's more fall out from this story - apparently David Cochrane, the
CBC reporter, has been blacklisted from interviewing the premier (see
Geoff Meeker's blog with details http://thetelegram.com/index.cfm?sid=135451&sc=88
) What a blatent attempt to control the media through intimidation.
