Cliff Doran photographed a Brown-headed Cowbird in Portugal Cove South
today, later confirmed by yours truly. Tried to turn it into a
Bronzed but no luck. It was a juvvie.

Forgot to mention that my father says that he has also had a cowbird
at his farm on Argentia access road for >1 week. Apparently it has
adopted the sheep as ErsatzBison, riding around on their backs and
hopping down to grab insects they stir up. He also had a short-eared
owl in a pasture there a couple weeks ago.
