Subject: Pom Jaegers
Richard asked me to post this!  Ouch!  If I wasn't on my deathbed I'd
be annoyed.

Yesterday, as per ‘phone message, 2 p.m. -- 4 lt. phase Poms beating
South into the wind. Went home for my ‘scope and, as the fog receded a
bit, at 2:40 p.m. saw a flock of Poms – 18 in total (all but a few
were lt. phase) whirling around, annoying the kittiwakes, and then
also heading South in line astern formation.

There were at least 3 or 4 other jaegers around, including a dark
phase, probable Parasitic – for a minimum total of at least 25.  How
many were out in the fog?  I was impressed.
