The jays are indeed back in CBS - had three at our feeder in Upper
Gullies this a.m. In the last few days, we've had the juncos and a
nuthatch here, and the chipping sparrow is still around - have seen it
several times over the weekend.
Re starlings - yesterday, we saw a large flock sweeping back and forth
above the CBS highway near the Paint Shop - this seems to be a
favoured area for them...
Interesting - we have had Blue Jays visiting our feeders off and on
all winter long. Have not, for example though, seen a Purple Finch for
months. Very strange year for feeder birds.
