Is there any way to export my stored messages in Xnews to another
program, even to a text format? Or will it just be a copy/paste thing
into Word or something to save the messages when I switch newsreaders?

Thanks,
Sherry

This is easy.
1) Open your stored message folder
2) Ctrl-A selects all messages
3) Press the F6 key to save them all off as text files to a chosen
directory.

Or you have another option to keep them all in one file. In the
'Folders' directory you'll see the Sent & Archive files. With
Notepad open the ones that have the (.mbx) extension and save the
file.
