Is there any USENET newsreader which (a) runs under Windows and (b) has killfile capabilities?

I'm despairing of trying to cut through the flamewars without a killfile. :-(

I can't think of one that runs under Windows that DOESN'T do that. What
have you tried that you had a problem with?

Xnews
Agent
Thunderbird
Outlook Express
etc.

I haven't tried anything except Google Groups. It's just that none of the reviews / listings of newsreaders said anything about killfiles.

Thanks

Please stop using GG to read and post to usenet groups.

(But) While you are using GG please use a nickname in your settings
instead of not.

(And) While you are still using GG please don't use the new interface,
but instead use the old GG.

As soon as possible such as immediately, acquire/ register at/ a real
nntp news server and some real nntp news reader while you are asking
about which one to use and stop reading and posting messages to this
usenet group with the new GG interface and no nickname/handle/nym

I am using slrn under Linux but it runs very well under windows as well.
Great scoring (kill file) capability.

Xnews has very good scoring and killfile ability. It's free as well.

Get it here: http://xnews.newsguy.com/

Install it in it's own folder, do not let it install in a "Program
Files" folder.

You can come back here for all the help you'll ever need configuring
it.
