Live Receiver exception: Socket Error #10054Connection reset by peer.
Every time this happens HService stops running, it is still installed as a
service though. I have reinstalled PG but the problem still exists. I will
be very grateful for any and all help in resolving this problem. With that
does anyone know how to resolve this issue?
BTW: A screenshot of the error message can be seen at

a) whether it works with just a mail program without getting the same
problem and b) what settings you have set Hamster up with for with that
server.
A wild guess would be that it is a problem at the server end.

Problem solved, thanks to your additional input causing me to probe
Hamsters settings more deeply. It caused me to turn on the Detail and Debug
outputs for View/Transfer. This allowed me to see that it was crashing when
checking an e-mail against the MailTrap.HST file. It had became corrupt and
was crashing the service.
Again thanks for your help.

Not much really. You did most of the work. log files are *very* useful
when you have programs that actually use them.
