Perhaps that bug appears only with a certain configuration of the
scoring.
Score value... KILL
Presets... Kill entire thread
Select one or more headers... add Subject to References and Message
ID, top of thread
Boolean... OR
Rescore on apply... unchecked
Apply... click
By the way... I am not complaining, I am more or less answering a
previous post of mine, for what it's worth. I am perfectly happy with
using a prior version. Also possible is that the bug appears only on
my system, but that is highly unlikely since it varies by version.

I'm wondering if you don't like Google but your signature file is so
wishy-washy! <GD&R>
If you really don't like the wonderfulness of Google and the loveliness
of non-stop Google spam you could add a link to the UIP into your
signature:
It really does help.

In my opinion, Google destroying access to the USENET archive is much much
worse.
I've been searching through the posts in this NG to try and find out if
there is any work-around / solution to this particular bug, besides the
obvious "use and older verison", and so far have not found it.
If there is a solution / work around for this can someone be so kind and
point me to it.
Happy New Year,
DH2

What bug? Is there some reason why you think there's only one and we all
know what it is?

Even though DH2 top-posted, snipping the quoting text which said
exactly what the specific bug is and asking "What bug?" seems a
little silly, doesn't it?

He top posted, Chuck.
Then included a non-sig, above the quoted text. The bug was
mentioned (and quoted) below his non-sig which referred to the
version of Xnews (and newer) also mentioned in the subject header.
Perhaps he could glance at
<http://www.netmeister.org/news/learn2quote.html> and
<http://catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html> when he has some
time to kill.
Also <http://linux.sgms-centre.com/misc/netiquette.php> under
section 10, signatures, wouldn't go amiss.
