Subject: Can't create new groups

Hello,
I'm running innd 1.4 unoff 4 on an UltraSparc running Solaris 2.5.1.  The only
problem I have so far is creating new groups. After doing /bin/ctlinnd
newgroup newgroup and running a renumber on it, the group shows up in the
active file and active.times file. I added the group to the newsgroups file
also. However, anytime someone tries to access the new group, it returns an
error of "No valid newsgroups in "biz.act.d""  (which of course is our local
group).  I've RTFM'ed and can't come up with an explanation. Please help.
Thanks in advance.

On a related note, I just discovered the problem is coming from the
sharedactive patch. I just recompiled without sharedactive patch installed and
it seems to work. I've followed the sharedactive-notes-solaris instructions to
the tee (I think). Any more clues? ;^)
