Hi -- I'm trying to figure out if there is a good way to send out an email to everyone in my Group (I'm the manager). I could change all of their delivery settings to "all email" and just post a message. However, if there is not a way to revert their settings back to how they set them, I don't want to screw with their notifications.

Is there another way to do this? I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to send out a mass email to everyone in my Group (it's a HOA group), even if they have turned off emails.

Thanks for any help!
Michael

This sounds like a question for the providers of whatever web forum
service it is that you are using. Presumably "Google Groups".

In general, if you know a persons email address and have their
permission to send messages to it, I can't see any reason why you
shouldn't; if they have told you not to, you shouldn't, and if you have
no address for them, you can't.

If you want to send the same email to several people, its best to put
their email addresses in the "Blind Carbon Copy" (Bcc) field, so that
each of them sees only their own address. Whether you type or
copy/paste the addresses individually or have a single 'group' entry
you can use, will depend on your email software and how you have it set
up.

To learn about usenet newsgroups such as this one, and why they are
nothing to do with Google, start here <http://www.anta.net/misc/nnq/>.
