Hello, I have a few questions about the program 'trn'.

In order to followup a particular post I need to type f while
reading it. It then asks me about the distribution, what should
I type here? Then it says this:

>(leaving cbreak mode; cwd=/public/users/gnb97)
>Invoking command: QUOTECHARS='>' Pnews -h /public/users/gnb97/.rnhead

If I type list, it gives me a list of header info. If I try
to type edit, it gives me the 'X server not responding' message.
I am posting this through a prepared file, but I'm not sure it will
work. I have tried 'man trn' but its extremely long, and not too clear.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

It is best to keep this field empty (which means distributed
to everywhere, sometimes also called "the world"). Theoretically
you can enter certain keywords there, but you cannot be sure
about their effect on every and all computers around the world...

Leaving it blank, unless you have some driving need to only show the post
locally, is usually best.

It doesn't know where your screen is; you're using Xwindows (he says, holding
an envelope to his forehead) and haven't set the DISPLAY variable to what
your particular screen is. Your headers are sort of broken also (they
show you as gnb97@ram instead of using your full address), so I can't
right now tell you what your Internet numerical address is; you need to
find this out and then say (for 100.99.98.97, for instance):
setenv DISPLAY 100.99.98.97:0.0
and your problems *should* be solved. But talk to your sysadmin about this
anyway, because you need also to get those headers fixed...
