Now we know what erols.com thinks of e-spam

I recently sent a complaint to erols.com with regard to some unsolicited
junk I had received. This is what I received back from them. In effect,
telling me not a damn thing they are going to do to end this email
spamming problem.
So, if they won't take matters into their own hands and abide by the
commonly accepted standards of netiquette? I'll lodge my complaint in
the open in news.admin.net-abuse.misc as well as notify my provider of
the lack of care and concern for being a good net-citizen that erols.com
has adopted as their attitude. Legal or not, spamming is NOT acceptable.

to flourish.

I apologize for the incident being discussed here (I'm assuming it is the
sa...@pwrone.net episode). Unfortunately, our logs for the period in
question are incomplete. This has been fixed, and we will catch this person
the *next* time it occurs.
Erol's does not condone spamming of any sort, and routinely terminates the
accounts of the involved persons once they have been confirmed.

I wish I had a quarter for every time erols.com has sent me junk e-mail.
An additional quarter for every time I've complained to
postm...@erols.com and never seen any response, and no drop in the
number of spams, would double the original amount.

Funny thing about spamming. I was accused by EROLS of sending a
"EMAIL BOMB" to some school. They canceled my account and forget to
tell me. After spending three hours and two days being bounced
between customer support, customer relations, customer billing and
back they finally called me and told me why. Only problem is no one
was home when it is alleged that I sent this bomb. Thank you to
EROLS. I have seen the light and am no longer one of their customers.
Those of you staying with them, continue to suffer.
