Mailing list alternatives to n.a.na.m/e ?

I assume that there are one or two email lists that now serve
the intended function of these newsgroups, without the barrage
of nonsense from those who simply don't like that purpose. If
someone would tell me how to subscribe, I would be obliged.

(Of course, since the idjits aren't allowed to disrupt them,
those email lists are, ipso facto, a cabal. I expect my official
cabal t-shirt.)
