For the curious, here's the count of IPs listed by SPEWS as of
2005-12-01:

This month shows another drop with a total of 349,812 IP address removed
from the SPEWS lists. Of these, 177,109 IP addresses were removed from
the level one list, and the remaining 172,703 IP addresses were removed
from the level two list.
