Spamhaus then advised Verizon of our 'service restrictions' clause (see: datafeed faqs) which prohibits the use of Spamhaus data by networks who let themselves get into our Top 10. Verizon promised us the problem would be fixed and in fact the spammers then began falling off Verizon, down very considerably from the previous hundreds of serious issues MCI/UUNet had brought with them. Considering the size of the problem they started with in my view they have done a good job.
