Hi guys, we use a spam filtering (amongst other things) application called Reflexion Total Control. We've just started seeing blacklistings for backscatter/sender callouts from this particular smarthost. Has anyone else noticed problems with this service and/or is there a solution other than removing the existing smarthost?... more »

Okay, a customer is using BACKSCATTERER and they are blocking our e- mails. I checked our IP and it is currently listed but the last event was on 6/12/09 but won't be delisted until 3/01/2010. Since UCEPROTECT-Network started to publish it's downloadable blocklists in RBLDNSD format (03.07.2007) almost all of our users which are using downloadable formats have switched to download RBLDNSD via RSYNC.
