Hello:

"ONO-AS Cableuropa - ONO" is listed in lvl3 in uceprotect. The problem
is that ONO is a black fiber provider for several ISPs in SPAIN, is
the second optics fiber provider in several spanish regions.

The only function of ONO is to conect, every ISP connected to his
network has her own servers and anti-span policy.

It's not a corrcect policy to block an optic fiber provider.

What I can do to remove from this list?

Thank's for your time and sorry for my bad English!

Being large and a provider doesn't excuse ONO from its duty to prevent
abuse by its customers.

I would guess that all her own servers don't enforce their anti-spam
policy. Does ONO have anti-spam policy?

> It's not a corrcect policy to block an optic fiber provider.

Wrong. It is correct when provider's customers allow spam to continue.
It is not a correct policy for ONO's customers to allow spam.

> What I can do to remove from this list?

Get ONO to take care of customer's that spam.

Your English is good.

The party choosing to do the blocking determines their own policy which applies
to their mail servers. It is as correct as they want them to be.

Talk to the appropriate responsible people (that means someone with authority
to make management decision and have them carried out) at the ISP and have
them pursue the matter with the list operator (for any and all lists, not just
UCEPROTECT). Or that responsible person could post here for advice.

When it is the ISP that is listed, your role as a customer would be mostly
limited to pointing out clear and obvious errors. But that not the case in
this situation, since the reason for listing is not specifically detailed
for this ISP, and in general for UCEPROTECT is a situation of actual spamming
having taken place in sufficient quantity to merit protection from the whole
ISP network.

But, your upstream ISP is not good.

Wrong. ONO-AS is the network owner and so they have to enforce strict
anti-spam policies from their customers, no matter if that customers are ISP's
or endusers.

Let's see this:

http://www.uceprotect.net/en/rblcheck.php?asn=6739

It seems that most of their networks are emitting lots of spam.

>What I can do to remove from this list?

If you are a representative of AS 6739 then you have to limit abuse coming from
your networks and ranges.

If you are a customer of AS 6739 then bring this issue to their attention.

AS 6739 has 8269 Level 1 listings (relates to 0.795% spammers) at this time.

AS 6739 will be removed automatically as soon as abuse from their ranges
decreases to less than 0.2% of their total IP-Space within 7 days.

You didn't provide an IP address.

If you represent ONO, then you need to contact UCEProtect.

If you are an ISP under ONO, then you should contact ONO and explain the
problem.

If you are a customer of an ISP under ONO, you should complain to your
ISP. After all, you are paying them for connectivity that you are not
getting because of bad behavior elsewhere on your network.
