How to use Google News Google Group

Removing google news from my desktop!

I receive google news with my internet explorer home page which is
fine; it's a great service and I appreciate it. However, part of the
news page occupies about 80% of my desk top, underneath the icons for
my programs, etc. I've tried to remove it from my desk top but
nothing I've tried seems to work to do this. Any help I could receive

Google set up for alerts so that I know when our company is in the
news. However, lately I have been getting alerts from 2 -3 years
ago. I wonder why this is happening? Are these triggered by someone

Site Indexed Wrong?

I run a website - EclipseMagazine.com, we used to be Indexed on Google
News and our stories showed up as featured stories all the time. Then
we had some growing pains and switched platforms, during the migration

How can I display more search results?

Hi there,
I need to get a copy of all the search results that I get for a
certain search term. At the moment, I see that there are about 5,000
search results for this search term. I can only go back 1,000 search
results, which is about 7 hours. I need to go back more than 20 hours.
I have tried modifying the search results in the "Advanced Searches"

If you'd like to search for a specific phrase in Google News, or
create a custom section based on that phrase, then include it in
quotes: ["declaration of independence"]. Anything that matches that
specific phrase will be returned.

That's a good question! First, when you're creating a custom section,
you're able to specify words you don't want to read about by using the
"-" operator. So in this case, your section keywords would be
[colorado "oakland,california" -broncos -raiders].
