Subject: Archiving Press Releases?
The organization I work for has had difficulty with press releases on
Google news.  They will show up during the first 30 days or so, but
then they dissappear and are nowhere to be found in the archive
section.

On top of that, the only stories that come up about our company are
the negative ones from the past instead of the positive stories.
Anyone know the policy on press release stories?  Thanks

Hi Scott,

Google News only links to articles that are 30 days old or younger.
After that, if you'd like your content to show up in News Archives,
you can submit your site at this link:
http://www.google.com/support/news_pub/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=47688

In answer to your second question, Google News doesn't pick and choose
articles based on whether they're positive or negative. You can find
more information about how we include press releases here:
http://www.google.com/support/news_pub/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=93999

Hope this helps,
Abe
