I thought Jim was in charge of invitations.
Anyway you could have made a bucket-full of
money. There was a face "makeover" lady there
and I asked her if she was doing "face painting"
and she said she wish she were, but couldn't
draw.

I can't draw worth a shit either.
But I've developed the ability to keep

We had a ball, too! Nice crowd (despite Jazzfest) and wonderful weather until
the rains hit <g>.

We have been to a few arts and crafts fairs where we have stood under someone's
tent while a storm went overhead. I think our small town "Strawberry Festival" is
known for it's strawberry goodies and thunderstorms every year that it has been
held. You did the *walk and duck*....walk a little and than duck inside a store
when it poured.
Have you had any of the tornado watches or warnings that have been issued for
Louisiana over the last few days?
No, we'd expected the afternoon rain and taken proper precautions; of course
the barrage of thunderstorms that assailed us the next day, causing widespread
flooding, power outages, etc., was a bit much; thank goodness we were snugly
ensconced in our homes when it hit.
So many others weren't as fortunate....
