Well it was an easy 8 hours. The weather was beautiful; sunny with a
breeze. The Swamp Fest was happening on the other side of the
barricades. Got to hear Hunter Hayes, second year in a row, working
this gig. I love when he sings the song he wrote, "Six Years Old."
He's probably all of 8 years old now, but a happening little cajun
singer amd accordionist. Seems Mikey & Steve were playing on the very
same stage at some point in the day, so I know I heard them. The
crowd was very light. The money was great. And, the client (Shell
Pipeline) gave us a lagniappe bag full of goodies (Zoo bathtowl, Zoo
golf towel, white alligator beer cozy, disposable camera, zoo baseball
hat and a battery powered fan). Nice treat. Nice day.

So you decided to paint gorillas and tigers.>>

Funny you should say that. I went face-painting with Jane a couple of weeks
ago, and tigers (including albino tigers) were the big thing. I was getting a
little tired of them when my gig ended,

Sometimes I almost regret inventing that Tony the Tiger
face....especially after the 20th one in a row.
