10/22 – Discussion on Culture & Religion – Come congratulate Father
Brett on successfully completing his dissertation, which focuses on
the area of cultural diversity within religious communities. We will
discuss the relationship between culture & religion, and also consider
how Father Brett’s findings can be applied to Interfaith and
Ecumenical couples and dating.

10/29 – California Academy of Sciences Nightlife – Join Yaggies as we
venture into the City for Nightlife at the California Academy of
Sciences in Golden Gate Park. All of the regular exhibits at this
very impressive museum will be open, along with a DJ, drinks and food

Restorative Justice” is a one-day conference on Restorative Justice,
taking place at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption in San

Sunday, October 25 – Loaves & Fishes Women’s Shelter Dinner. The
kitchen is full for this dinner – thanks to all those who volunteered!

Wednesday, October 28 – Garrison Keillor at the Zellerbach
Auditorium. Cal Performances “Strictly Speaking” series continues
with “An Evening with Garrison Keillor” at 8:00 pm in Zellerbach Hall
A. Garrison Keillor is the host of the widely popular A Prairie Home
Companion on NPR. More information on the show is available here

Sunday, November 22 – If you missed out on volunteering for the
October Loaves & Fishes dinner we’ll be doing it again in November!
Join Yaggies as we prepare a dinner for 35 women and children at the
women’s shelter at 2140 Dwight Way, Berkeley. If you are willing to
help out preparing a meal, or can make a dessert to drop off, then
please contact the RT at newman....@gmail.com. Meal prep will take
place from approximately 4:00 – 6:30, and you are also welcome to stay
and enjoy dinner from 7:00 – 8:00.
