Great! Good job. There is more than one way to do it. Which method did you use?
The next think you want to do is to get and install the additional SDL
libraries (SDL_ttf, SDL_mixer, and SDL_image) and development
packages.

I do not use gtalk, as I believe it is windows only, and there is no
linux version. I am nystromcrhis on AIM and chris_nystrom on the YAHOO
messenger.
