I am quite pleased with the second beta version so I tried to update
to versions 0.5a3. However, I can't get it to work. First of all, the
page never shows up. Not when I start Firefox, not when I open a new
(blank) tab or when I close all tabs. So I have still have no idea how
the update version looks like or what it does. Also when I try to go
to the options, firefox freezes and I am forced to terminate firefox.
I have no idea what's going on and I don't see any other users
experiencing the same.

I am using the latest Firefox 3 version on Windows XP. I reinstalled
Firefox again yesterday, with a clean profile and using no other add-
ons, but it still gave the same problems.

Do you have any clue what might be the cause of all this? If you need
more information, just contact me.

For the moment I reverted to version 0.5a2 which still works fine, but
I would like to try the new features.

Thanks,

Huub

Hi Huub,
There is an issue with accessing Options page from the Add-on dialog.
I mistyped path :( so options page works only from the Tools menu.
It actually freezes Add-on dialog, the main Firefox window should
still work ... however big pain, I fixed it, will hopefully upload new
version this weekend.
So, you don't see thumbnails or the whole page is not showing? Do you
have a new button (Open JumpStart) between address bar and search bar?
If you have it please try clicking on it and see if you will see the
extension's page then. You could try with typing this URL manually:
chrome://jumpstart/content/tabView.xul

Keep in mind though, if you try it with the fresh install of the
Firefox you won't have any page visits in the history and the
extension is refreshing the list only on start-ups. That means you
would need to go visit some pages and then restart Firefox to get
something showing.

If you want to try it clean you can create a new profile - no need to
reinstall Firefox. If you run your Firefox like this:
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -ProfileManager
it will give you profile manager dialog and you can create a new
profile from there. We can try with that if you wish, it won't affect
your general profile.

Cheers,
Mihailo

Hi.
I really like this add-on and would very much like to see it work.
implementing this add-on later in the firefox 3.1 version will remove
the need to use chrome ( at least for most people....)
now , there is a problem that Huub talked about which the only reason
way i dont use this add-on now.
some times there are link's that opens in a new window (not tab).
the add-on brake the connection and leaves you with a blank firefox
window.
I can't tell you how to reproduce the bug as it happened under an
account settings page...
If you still can't find what's the bug is tell me and i will reinstall
and try to find a page ( maybe i will open an account under the site
for you to see).
Again, thank you for creating this great add-on

Hi,
I've been quiet lately, very busy part of the year.
I can't say I encountered those kind of problems. There are probably
sites with which the add-on will have problems, if you know of any
please let me know. At the moment I'm working on some improvements,
just making it more stable I guess, however without a way to reproduce
a problem it is hart to fix it. I'll include some more logging for the
next version in order to pinpoint trouble spots, it will be possible
to turn it on in settings. I still don't know when the new version is
coming, but surely in this year.
Thanks,
Mihailo

Ok, took me some time, but ok.
if you go to gamecopyworld.com and try to download a file a new window
pop-up.
this new window keeps freezing on white color.
