BORING, BUT IMPORTANT DETAILS:

• FOOD: We'll be selling food and snacks for lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday. No food on Friday, so eat before you come or bring snacks.
• BATHROOMS: We will have signs clearly labeling the directions to the bathroom. Please plan ahead (don't hold it in too long) because facilities are limited and there may be a long line. Also be considerate and don't waste time in the bathroom doing things like fixing your make-up - you look great already. Also, maybe drink less and enjoy the music more?
• OFFICIAL DRINKING POLICY: We will not be selling alcohol. If you are drinking your own alcohol, you should be doing so within the confines of the law, and be doing so responsibly. 'Nuff said.
• RESPECT: Please respect the homes where these shows are located. That basically means don't be a jerk, and if you see someone else being a jerk, be an anti-jerk hero and stop them. We will have some signs up indicating what behavior is necessary in order to prevent the police from coming.
• POLICE: We have already gotten way too much press for this event [http://fort-greene.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/06/02/music-from-hilltops]. If the police come, please cooperate. We will find a way to continue the show, refund some money, and/or go have fun in some other way.
• CAPACITY: The only way to guarantee that you will get into these shows is if you show up at doors. Any time after that, it is possible that the event will be sold out. It is hard to know at what point that will happen, but showing up on time and getting your money's worth is a win-win situation.

FUN, AND EXCITING DETAILS:

• THE WEATHER: So far the weather looks great for this weekend, no rain, god bless you Blind Melon.
• FREE BRUNCH?: Speaking of melon, I have been told that those who arrive at doors on Saturday (10:30am) will be treated to some free breakfast snacks and mimosas, courtesy of Eskalators spin-off group, The Honey Dos, while supplies last.
• MOVIE: Flipswitch Films [http://www.vimeo.com/flipswitch] is going to be documenting all three days for a Hillstock DVD, which will be screened later this summer. Hang on to your Hillstock wristband and you will get into the (exclusive?) screening for free. Please be kind to the camera persons.
• COMEDY: Portions of Saturday's show will be MCed by members of Pangaea 3000 [http://www.youtube.com/user/pangea3000]. You might know them from such things as The Onion, Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, or McSweeney's.
• HIPPIES?: I will just say that if you have the urge to dress up like a hippie on Friday night, you will not be alone.
