patch for 4510 & 4595

Hi, I fixed 2 minor bugs and uploaded a patch.

4510 is not fully covered, because Cyrillic glyphs are not in font
files, but it solves encoding.

I would like that that my patch is merged into trunk and that it finds
the way into an official or osdng distribution.
