First, what the subject says. My best wishes to the team at Neuros,
and all the list members whom always cope with my late night rants.
;-)

Second, I finally managed to upgrade to OSDNG.

I found two pressing bugs:

#1) The bug that makes it impossible to set DNS server on a fixed-IP
configuration, and which I originally reported on FEBRUARY 9, 2009, is
STILL ALIVE AND KICKING. I had to re-enable the DHCP server on my home
router (against my better judgement) just so the OSD can get the right
DNS information. All attempts to manually enter the DNS info resulted
in the old one ending up in the config (it's as if the change doesn't
"stick" after pressing the OK button).

I have now recorded a nice video where you can see me entering the DNS
data, pressing OK, and then seeing it revert back to the old one. I
can upload it to Youtube if you want. ;-)

#2) I'm unable to get the list of packages for OSDNG.... it times out
trying to resolve the server nane. What on Earth is going on and why
can't whoever set up the repository add the right subdomain name to
its hosting config?!?!

Having said that, a happy 2010 for you all...
