Who are you listening to when it becomes time to make your financial decisions?

The financial institutions will have you believe that there way is the only way for you to invest your hard earned money. If you have been getting advice from a financial advisor or financial planner chances are good that they keep telling you to put your money into 401k plans and mutual funds.

No Risk No Gain

The financial institutions want you to believe that the only way you will ever be able to retire is if you put your money at Risk. Let me ask you this question, if this is true then why do the wealthy find places to put their money that are low risk? If 10 percent of the people control 90 percent of the wealth it only makes sense to follow what they are doing.

The next time you have a conversation with your financial planner ask him or her if they have can show you how to avoid the eroding factors of interest declines and stock market declines. My guess they won`t have a clue as to what you are asking. If they do know then the next question to ask them is how come you never mentioned any of this to me before.

Why you need to be in control

Over the years financial planners have been sitting in front of clients showing them spreadsheets and ledgers about numbers. Over the years the numbers never happen! Why? Because it is only opinion instead of fact. This is one reason why financial planning does not and will not work. To me this is reason enough to take control of my own financial decisions.

Statistics show that most people are losing between 10%-20% or more of their gross income or revenue to financial inefficiencies and they don’t know it because of eroding factors.
