*Development*

- We shipped beta 2 last week (Thu for Firefox, Fri for Thunderbird)
- We've confirmed that binary patching updates works
- Pushing forward to rc; only a few weeks away
- Trying hard to ship before Thanksgiving
- Please help if you can, and be understanding about bugs which don't
   make the cut

- Please summarise function, testing and potential breakage when
   nominating bugs

*Marketing*

- There will be a marketing plan for 1.5, just like 1.0
- Outline will come out some time in the next week
- Working with Frank to reorganise all the websites (.org vs .com)
- Hoping to do the relaunch a couple of weeks before 1.5 comes out

- Looking at launching an extension competition
- Rafael is putting together a prize package, inc. an Alienware PC

*Devmo launch*

- Went really well
- Devmo launch picked up by Dr. Dobbs
- Quickly climbed Google pagerank
- Also launched an adwords campaign for the Mozilla Developer Centre

- All the DevEdge stuff is basically done
- We are still moving stuff from www.mozilla.org over to Devmo
- Other web development houses and IBM have approached about
   contributing content

*Web 2.0*

- Mitchell went to the O'Reilly Web 2.0 conference
- Speakers were executives only and CTOs
- Found Firefox being really taken for granted as a basis for innovation
   in that world
- People are really grateful for what we've made
- Audio is up on itconversations.com

- Frank recommends Tim O'Reilly's recent article on Web 2.0

- Asa: where is the "web 2.0 buglist"? Can we act as a hub for that?
- Deb is working on this problem
- Gerv and Asa to put a list together of people in that community to
   invite to a discussion lunch

*LinuxWorld London*

- Seemed like a success
- We had a booth in the .org village, run by the two Davids
- Tristan did a lot of press interviews
- We won "Best Linux/Open Source Marketing Project" for SpreadFirefox

*Personnel*

- Welcome to Aravind, helping with system administration support

Gerv
