  Got it working. Intall timidity and gus-patches. Go to seamonkey &lt;br&gt; preferences &amp;gt; helper applications, and add timidity for audio/midi &lt;br&gt; mime files. Bingo! Works jes fine. ;) &lt;br&gt; nb

  Yeah. Checking about:config and about:plugins was my first stop. No &lt;br&gt; joy. I found a forum that said VLC did midi files, so I intalled it &lt;br&gt; only to get a gui error stating vlc don&#39;t do midi and there&#39;s nothing &lt;br&gt; I can do about it. lol.... a sense of humor! ;) Looking at TiMidity. &lt;br&gt; nb

  in the SM address bar type in about:plugins then hit &lt;br&gt; they enter key, and now look for an entry that plays &lt;br&gt; midi. Is there anything? If not, then you need to &lt;br&gt; configure something to play those.

  close SM, then delete all the *.msf files from the Mail &lt;br&gt; Section within the SM profile. Reopen SM. Did that work?

  if you have a lot of compacting, then the message do &lt;br&gt; disappear, but should reappear shortly. If they don&#39;t, &lt;br&gt; then click on another folder, then back, and they &lt;br&gt; should reappear.
