When looking at attachments, right mouse gives options
that include "save all" and "detach all" - what is the
difference?

save all: saves all the attachments within an email message
detach all: removes all the attachments within an email
message

When just *reading* a message, the save and detach work in identical
ways: both save the attachments. detach then tries to delete - but
fails! 1.1.18
