When writing an e-mail, I sometimes BOLD, UNDERLINE, etc., a phrase or
sentence for emphasis.
I just noticed that the SENT message will not display underlined words,
colored words or enlarged words. However, it will display Bold and
Italicized words
How can I get SM to transmit colored, enlarged and underlined words?

how do you know its not being sent "colored, enlarged
and underlined"? Just because you can't see it while in
compose, doesn't mean its not being done.

btw: are you composing in html mode or text mode? If
you see the Insert and Format menus, then you're in
html mode.

Actually it is just the reverse.
All Format selections DO take place in COMPOSE. But when I send the
message to myself, only italics and bold words are displayed in the
received message.

Yes! Both Insert and Format menus are visible in COMPOSE

try clicking on View, Message Body As, and Original
HTML. Did that work?
