can't turn off/ disable seamoney mail in 2.9.1

Hi,
using seamonkey 2.9.1.exe on WinXP for a LAMP-software. But when using
"send to" function within foxit reader (pdf document) always seamonkey
opens! We choosed thunderbird.
I already disabled outlook express and seamonkey in system control ->
Software -> program access and standards -> custom defined . That was
working for two weeks. Now seamonkey mailer starts again, undependent of
settings in "program access and standards". Help!
How can I disable seamonkey mailer? Perhaps rename somewhat dll?
