Dear All mozillian,

I would like to register as a MLP contributor too. I was first contributor
to korean project of first Mozilla released. Maybe Tao and Alliot remember
me. Believe or not.

There are no release of Korean language pack since 0.9.2 version.
I worked at translation of Mozilla in korean last week. So I'm glad to
release this final version. If you have a some problem, please let me know.

I wonder why these lang packs has not been released to the wider
audience of mozilla.org ?

Since the current registered members of the Korean localization team
are Jungshik Shin and Choi Junho, I'd like to hear from them which
are the current assessment of your team.

Did you contact them ? Are they still working on Mozilla ?
Are they willing to continue working with you ?
What about the old site? Did they mean to abandon it?

In the meanwhile, I'm adding your name in the contributors list
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/l10n/mlp_status.html
and uploading you lang pack.

Greetings. Andrea

As you know, many korean have used IE as their favorite browser
(above 90%). Although Korea has the largest internet users,
there is no interested in new browser type in general.
This work of language pack is volunteer-based for solving this.
I believe if good software many users can use it.

Also Mr. Eungkuy Song also have made his language pack and
translation tools.

I want to convert personal power to team power.

Already I contacted with Mr. Choi and he knew I was old
contributor in mozilla korean project. He cannot work it right
now. But he can work it with me in some day.

There is another contributor, Mr. Eungkyu Song
(eun...@sparcs.kaist.ac.kr). Four member is one team.
If team, we will be able to develope new language pack
continually. To convert to new site is not decided.
I also archived old project file to www.mozilla.pe.kr.

Andrea,

for some reason, the language pack on mozilla.org is broken. Installing
will trigger an error: "This is not a valid language pack".

Installing from the Korean site works however...

안녕하세요, Hi all,

There's one problem I'm faced to with the Korean language pack: On all
my windows, I have a xul error at the bottom (below the status bar). It
says:

<menuitem id="menu_close" label="&closeCmd.label;" key="key_close"
----^
accesskey="&closeCmd.accesskey;" command="cmd_close"/>

Any idea why I see this? By the way, I double checked: I'm using the
Mozilla 1.0 release, and in English it works OK.

Ok, I found out in another thread. Quoting from

That seems to be exactly the problem I'm having, because, yes, I am on
Linux.

Ricky,

Thanks for your comment.
I added platformCommunicatorOverlay.dtd in ko_unix.jar by your comment.
There was no file in en-unix.jar, strangely.

You can find new archive in http://www.mozilla.pe.kr/archive/m1.0.0/langkokr.xpi
and also install in http://www.mozilla.pe.kr/

Thank you again,

Channy
