I just mentioned the AdBlock extension in my previous post, which prompted me
to check
update.mozilla.org (UMO for short) to see if any more of my old
extensions have been updated for Firefox 0.9 (or if any interesting new ones
were there), and I was very surprised to see that AdBlock was no longer one
of the top rated and most popular extensions listed for Firefox 0.9
(considering that it's probably one of the most essential extensions out
there, IMO, along with Web Developer, if you do any of that). I looked at
the "All" list, and AdBlock 0.5 is no longer on the list at all! I got it
from UMO when I first installed Firefox 0.9, and I've had no problems with
it.
Does anyone know why UMO would have dropped AdBlock 0.5 from their Extensions
list (at least for Firefox 0.9)? Was it on purpose (due to some problem I
should be cautioned against), or by accident?
