I have a password protected page that Mozilla 3.5.3 will not save the password and username for. The "never" button may have been clicked when the page was opened by username and password for the first time.

I'm trying to browse sites like tomshardware.com with an old PC (Dell latitude pentium 2 400 256mb) and firefox 2 with adblockplus but it's kind of unbrowsable, it keeps locking while i scroll down the pages, is there some tweak i can use, i mean with some sites it isn't slow at all. Thanks

I hope you can help me. I can't find a gmail or chrome browser newsgroup or mailing list, but I thought you all might know the answer, or at least refer me to another forum. Does anyonw here use the chrome browser? I think I need to delete a saved gmail password in the chrome browser. Is this found in the options or preferences? I couldn't find any... more »

Waiting patiently for reply to my question above, or maybe I'm in the wrong newsgroup. Can't find anywhere else on the net that does not require a hundred dollar donation, or worse, my email address so they can link me to the google spyware machine, or sell it to comodo and pals. :( []'s

Rogue certificate - How to delete ?

I seem to have picked up a rogue/false certificate. Will deleting the cert8.db file under "Documents and settings" reset them all to default ? Or will I have to delete something else ? WinXP Firefox 3.53 TIA (After closing FF and deleting the cert8.db and restarting FF the file was rebuilt and now has 65.536 bytes).... more »

Firefox 353 slower than Opera 10

Firefox 3.53 slower than Opera 10 I notice firefox 3.53 is slower then Opera 10. Firefox 3.5.3 takes forever to load (And doesn't load some tabs). This is with very few add on installed. I will keep firefox 3.53 installed, only for sites that have problems with Opera. (Note, I am not using turbo feature... more »

Using keyboard to look at previously visited urls for a tab

In either Firefox 2 or 3, is there a way, without the mouse, to look at the list of previously visited websites for a given tab. Right now I normally put the mouse on the little triangle next to Forward or Back, but I'd like to do this with the keyboard if possible. Thanks.

Slashdot - can't tag stories, can't save user & password

A couple of weeks ago, the tags feature on Slashdot stopped working. The arrow that you click on to bring up an edit box to tag stories doesn't click any more. Any ideas why this might be? Also, Slashdot is the only web site that Firefox can't remember the user name and password for, because they use a pop-up log in window.... more »

3.5.3 upgrade/Install completed sucessfully and failed miserably.............

CPU chip: AMD 2000+ XP (1.63Ghz compared to intel) OS: XP Pro SP2 Firefox 3.5.2 (rolled back, sorta; or downgraded, or whatever) I waited this long to upgrade from 3.5.2 to 3.5.3 (Official site download) and when the upgrade/install ran, it reported a successful completion but at "Finish" did not bring up the new, improved Firefox and the icons no... more »
