Netflix popups in Firefox 3 with XP

I don't understand the Firefox built-in pop-up blcoker. I just installed Win XP after using win98SE. IIRC, I looked at the list of pop-up excetions, in Options/Content/Block Popup Windows (which I have checked)/exceptions and the list was empty a day or two after I dl'd FF3. I used to be able to click on a link in an e-mail program and it would open the web page in Firefox. All of a sudden this doesn't work and I have to copy and paste the link to view it. Using Vista home premium with all the auto updates. Recently activated windows defender. Could that be a problem?... more »

Firefox 3.5 needs native Paste and Go

I know there's an extension to add a Paste and Go option to the address bar, but wouldn't it be better to just have that option native to the browser? I've used the extension back when the browser was called Phoenix and it was helpful.
