Hi,

Can anybody advise me which is the most recent version of FireFox
that will work reasonably well with Windows98?

It doesn't have to be perfect, or have all of the new features
functioning. I am just in a situation where a site that I need
to use has upgraded their interface, and Firefox/2.0.0.20 now
shows a blank screen when I log in to that site.

Thanks...

I could be wrong on this, but I believe that the FF 2
series is the last one.

Grant, you are correct, FF 2.0.0.20 i the most recent that will run on
either Win 98/ME or Mac OS X 10.3.9.

I tried that and was unable to get it work. Then again, I didn't really
try all that hard, since 98 is not a big issue for me, though it would
be nice.

Lere, um ller, oh what the heck

That's exactly the version I'm using with 98SE and it does almost
everything.

It won't play videos, like youtube, but it used to. Something must
have gone wrong not related to firefox or at least its original
installation.

It sometimes gives me trouble with audio, because some stream wants
WinMedia-11, which won't run on 98. But it does work with winmedia9.

Sometimes I get a warning that a script won't stop running, Do I want
to stop it or continue. I stop it.

Have you reinstalled it? Uninstalled it and reinstalled it? I forget
what else might help.
