Comments:
I've just installed 1.5 on four machines, and have found these
"show-stopping" problems on all four (100%)... 1) After an extended
period of use, links that open in a new window (_BLANK) no longer open.
Shutting-down & restarting Firefox corrects this. 2) Also after extended
use, Firefox "stops cooperating" with the Java runtime, and Java cannot
be reconfigured to work with Firefox, claiming it doesn't have "rights."
3) After uninstalling 1.5, 1.0.x cannot be reinstalled. Well, that's
wrong. It will install, but will not run once 1.5 has been installed,
and uninstalled.

When this happens, javascript links stop working too.
This has been going on for several weeks, with Firefox 1.5 Beta 1 and
Beta 2, and I have not been able to find what might trigger this
behaviour.
I would add that for me, it is not after an extended period of use. It
can happen pretty quickly, after a few minutes and having opened about
a dozen such links.
It affects regular links with target="_blank", and javascript links.
