Summary: Firefox constantly prompts for proxy authentication

Comments:
I've just installed 1.5rc1 to see if this bug was fixed, which has been
in every 1.5-based Firefox, and other browsers based off it such as
Flock. No such luck :(

When browsing via a proxy server, it appears each href on the page
requires re-authentication with the proxy. On certain sites,
particularly portals filled with lots of junk, this can amount to having
to authenticate over 50 times for each viewable page. I feel sorry for
the people who _don't_ use password manager and have to type in
usernames and passwords for each little item. I'd much prefer the 1.0
method where you authenticate once only, when the browser initially loads.

Browser Details: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051025 Firefox/1.5
