using N6 with a proxy

I use @home cable, and just recently setup N6, but I'm having trouble
using the proxy, it won't load up any webpages, unless I connect
directly to the web. Any ideas?This version seems alot more complicated
to setup for a LAN then 4.x. or am I doing something wrong?
